The Centre de femmes La Moisson offers support and personal growth groups, which are mainly given at the Centre in Île-Perrot (day and evening). Some groups are also offered in Coteau-du-Lac and St-Zotique.
What is a group?
A group is a venue where women can feel safe sharing and discussing their experiences. Each group focuses on a specific theme, which will be explored and deepened over a series of five or ten meetings. With guidance from our workers, the women make progress from week to week. Through various approaches (sharing, exercises, through-provoking readings, etc.), the workers steer the group toward possible solutions, while making sure to go at each woman’s pace. Because they are spread out over a period of several weeks, the meetings allow participants to really get into the topic and reflect deeply on it.
