What is a coffee chat?

A coffee chat is an opportunity to discuss and find out more about topics of general interest. Each week, one of the Centre’s workers introduces a different theme, giving the women an opportunity to reflect on the topic of the week and inspiring them to find out more about the subject. If they feel comfortable doing so, participants are encouraged to discuss the topic. Since the themes vary from week to week, the women can attend just one coffee chat in particular that interests them or come to several, depending on their needs and interests.

There is no need to pre-register for the coffee chats.

They take place every Monday from 1 pm to 3 pm (French)

January 2024

– 5 feb. : « Atelier artistique » with Céline Poirier, artist – on refait notre porte de la salle d’atelier

– 12 feb. : Dîner St-Valentin – apportez votre goûter – dès 12 h 

– 19 feb. : Café-rencontre avec Mélodie (stagiaire)

– 26 feb. : « Atelier artistique » avec Céline Poirier, artiste – on refait notre porte de la salle d’atelier

March 2024

– 4 march : Ciné-discussion pour célébrer le 8 mars

– 11 march : « Solution aux dettes » with Mary-Lee Boyer Sanders de l’ACEF

– 18 march : « Comment ne pas perdre sa chemise à la retraite » – with Hélène Hétu de l’ACEF

– 25 march : « Le plaisir de vieillir »
